Unto Timothy, my own son in the faith

1Tim.1.1 Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the commandment of God our Saviour, and Lord Jesus Christ, which is our hope;
1Tim.1.2 Unto Timothy, my own son in the faith: Grace, mercy, and peace, from God our Father and Jesus Christ our Lord.
1Tim.1.11 According to the glorious gospel of the blessed God, which was committed to my trust.
1Tim.1.17 Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, be honour and glory for ever and ever. Amen.

Good and acceptable

1Tim.2.3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;
1Tim.2.5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;

good and acceptable

If a man know not how to rule his own house

1Tim.3.5 (For if a man know not how to rule his own house, how shall he take care of the church of God?)
1Tim.3.15 But if I tarry long, that thou mayest know how thou oughtest to behave thyself in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth.
1Tim.3.16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.

We trust in the living God

1Tim.4.3 Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth.

1Tim.4.4 For every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving:
1Tim.4.5 For it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer.
1Tim.4.10 For therefore we both labour and suffer reproach, because we trust in the living God, who is the Saviour of all men, specially of those that believe.

we trust in the living God

God, giveth us richly all things to enjoy

1Tim.5.4 But if any widow have children or nephews, let them learn first to show piety at home, and to requite their parents: for that is good and acceptable before God.
1Tim.5.5 Now she that is a widow indeed, and desolate, trusteth in God, and continueth in supplications and prayers night and day.

1Tim.5.21 I charge thee before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, and the elect angels, that thou observe these things without preferring one before another, doing nothing by partiality.

Servants as are under the yoke

1Tim.6.1 Let as many servants as are under the yoke count their own masters worthy of all honour, that the name of God and his doctrine be not blasphemed.
1Tim.6.11 But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.

1Tim.6.13 I give thee charge in the sight of God, who quickeneth all things, and before Christ Jesus, who before Pontius Pilate witnessed a good confession;
1Tim.6.17 Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy;

servants as are under the yoke

Study to show thyself approved unto God

2Tim.1.1 Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, according to the promise of life which is in Christ Jesus,
2Tim.1.2 To Timothy, my dearly beloved son: Grace, mercy, and peace, from God the Father and Christ Jesus our Lord.
2Tim.1.3 I thank God, whom I serve from my forefathers with pure conscience, that without ceasing I have remembrance of thee in my prayers night and day;
2Tim.1.6 Wherefore I put thee in remembrance that thou stir up the gift of God, which is in thee by the putting on of my hands.
2Tim.1.7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

2Tim.1.8 Be not thou therefore ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me his prisoner: but be thou partaker of the afflictions of the gospel according to the power of God;

I suffer trouble, as an evil doer

2Tim.2.9 Wherein I suffer trouble, as an evil doer, even unto bonds; but the word of God is not bound.
2Tim.2.15 Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

2Tim.2.19 Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.
2Tim.2.25 In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth;

I suffer trouble, as an evil doer

All scripture is given by inspiration of God

2Tim.3.4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
2Tim.3.16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
2Tim.3.17 That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.

All men forsook me

2Tim.4.1 I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom;
2Tim.4.16 At my first answer no man stood with me, but all men forsook me: I pray God that it may not be laid to their charge.

all men forsook me

In hope of eternal life, promised before the world began

Titus.1.1 Paul, a servant of God, and an apostle of Jesus Christ, according to the faith of God’s elect, and the acknowledging of the truth which is after godliness;
Titus.1.2 In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began;

Titus.1.3 But hath in due times manifested his word through preaching, which is committed unto me according to the commandment of God our Saviour;

Titus.1.4 To Titus, mine own son after the common faith: Grace, mercy, and peace, from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ our Saviour.
Titus.1.7 For a bishop must be blameless, as the steward of God; not selfwilled, not soon angry, not given to wine, no striker, not given to filthy lucre;
Titus.1.16 They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate.

Grace, mercy, and peace, from God

The grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men

Titus.2.5 To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed.
Titus.2.10 Not purloining, but showing all good fidelity; that they may adorn the doctrine of God our Saviour in all things.
Titus.2.11 For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,

Titus.2.13 Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;

Good and profitable unto men

Titus.3.4 But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared,

Titus.3.8 This is a faithful saying, and these things I will that thou affirm constantly, that they which have believed in God might be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable unto men.

good and profitable unto men

I thank my God

Phile.1.3 Grace to you, and peace, from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
Phile.1.4 I thank my God, making mention of thee always in my prayers,

  I thank my God

Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever

Heb.1.1 God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets,
Heb.1.6 And again, when he bringeth in the firstbegotten into the world, he saith, And let all the angels of God worship him.
Heb.1.8 But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom.

Heb.1.9 Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.

A merciful and faithful high priest

Heb.2.4 God also bearing them witness, both with signs and wonders, and with divers miracles, and gifts of the Holy Ghost, according to his own will?
Heb.2.9 But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.
Heb.2.13 And again, I will put my trust in him. And again, Behold I and the children which God hath given me.
Heb.2.17 Wherefore in all things it behoved him to be made like unto his brethren, that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people.

a merciful and faithful high priest

Every house is builded by some man

Heb.3.4 For every house is builded by some man; but he that built all things is God.
Heb.3.12 Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God.

house is builded by some man

We have a great high priest, Jesus the Son of God

Heb.4.4 For he spake in a certain place of the seventh day on this wise, And God did rest the seventh day from all his works.
Heb.4.9 There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God.
Heb.4.10 For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his.
Heb.4.12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
Heb.4.14 Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession.

Lay hold upon the hope set before us

Heb.5.1 For every high priest taken from among men is ordained for men in things pertaining to God, that he may offer both gifts and sacrifices for sins:
Heb.5.4 And no man taketh this honour unto himself, but he that is called of God, as was Aaron.
Heb.5.10 Called of God an high priest after the order of Melchisedec.

Heb.5.12 For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat.

The powers of the world to come

Heb.6.1 Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God,
Heb.6.3 And this will we do, if God permit.
Heb.6.5 And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come,

Heb.6.6 If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame.
Heb.6.7 For the earth which drinketh in the rain that cometh oft upon it, and bringeth forth herbs meet for them by whom it is dressed, receiveth blessing from God:

powers of the world to come

To lay hold upon the hope

Heb.6.10 For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have showed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister.

Heb.6.13 For when God made promise to Abraham, because he could swear by no greater, he sware by himself,
Heb.6.17 Wherein God, willing more abundantly to show unto the heirs of promise the immutability of his counsel, confirmed it by an oath:
Heb.6.18 That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us:

to lay hold upon the hope

He is able also to save them that come unto God by him

Heb.7.1 For this Melchisedec, king of Salem, priest of the most high God, who met Abraham returning from the slaughter of the kings, and blessed him;
Heb.7.3 Without father, without mother, without descent, having neither beginning of days, nor end of life; but made like unto the Son of God; abideth a priest continually.
Heb.7.19 For the law made nothing perfect, but the bringing in of a better hope did; by the which we draw nigh unto God.
Heb.7.25 Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them.

Write them in their hearts

Heb.8.5 Who serve unto the example and shadow of heavenly things, as Moses was admonished of God when he was about to make the tabernacle: for, See, saith he, that thou make all things according to the pattern showed to thee in the mount.

Heb.8.10 For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people:

write them in their hearts

Christ, through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God

Heb.9.6 Now when these things were thus ordained, the priests went always into the first tabernacle, accomplishing the service of God.
Heb.9.14 How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?

Heb.9.20 Saying, This is the blood of the testament which God hath enjoined unto you.
Heb.9.24 For Christ is not entered into the holy places made with hands, which are the figures of the true; but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us:

To do thy will, O God

Heb.10.7 Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God.
Heb.10.9
Then said he, Lo, I come to do thy will, O God. He taketh away the first, that he may establish the second.
Heb.10.12 But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God;

Heb.10.21 And having an high priest over the house of God;
Heb.10.29 Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?

to do thy will, O God

Ye have need of patience

Heb.10.31 It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.
Heb.10.36 For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise.

ye have need of patience

The worlds were framed by the word of God

Heb.11.3 Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.
Heb.11.4 By faith Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, by which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts: and by it he being dead yet speaketh.
Heb.11.5 By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God.
Heb.11.6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

By faith

Heb.11.7 By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith.

Heb.11.10 For he looked for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is God.
Heb.11.16 But now they desire a better country, that is, an heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God: for he hath prepared for them a city.
Heb.11.19 Accounting that God was able to raise him up, even from the dead; from whence also he received him in a figure.
Heb.11.25 Choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season;
Heb.11.40 God having provided some better thing for us, that they without us should not be made perfect.

By faith

Jesus the author and finisher of our faith

Heb.12.2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.
Heb.12.7 If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not?
Heb.12.15 Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled;

Heb.12.22 But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels,
Heb.12.23 To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect,
Heb.12.28 Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear:
Heb.12.29 For our God is a consuming fire.

Marriage is honourable

Heb.13.4 Marriage is honourable in all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge.
Heb.13.7 Remember them which have the rule over you, who have spoken unto you the word of God: whose faith follow, considering the end of their conversation.

  Marriage is honourable

The God of peace, brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus

Heb.13.15 By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name.

Heb.13.16 But to do good and to communicate forget not: for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.
Heb.13.20 Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant,
