James, a servant of God

James.1.1 James, a servant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ, to the twelve tribes which are scattered abroad, greeting.
James.1.5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.
James.1.13 Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man:
James.1.20 For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God.
James.1.27 Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.

Hearken, my beloved brethren

James.2.5 Hearken, my beloved brethren, Hath not God chosen the poor of this world rich in faith, and heirs of the kingdom which he hath promised to them that love him?
James.2.19 Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.
James.2.23 And the scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham believed God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called the Friend of God.

Made after the similitude of God

James.3.9 Therewith bless we God, even the Father; and therewith curse we men, which are made after the similitude of God.

made after the similitude of God

The friendship of the world is enmity with God?

James.4.4 Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.
James.4.6 But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.

James.4.7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
James.4.8 Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.

The word of God, liveth and abideth for ever

1Pet.1.2 Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied.
1Pet.1.3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,
1Pet.1.5 Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.
1Pet.1.21 Who by him do believe in God, that raised him up from the dead, and gave him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God.

1Pet.1.23 Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.

Honour all men

1Pet.2.4 To whom coming, as unto a living stone, disallowed indeed of men, but chosen of God, and precious,
1Pet.2.5 Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.
1Pet.2.10 Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.

1Pet.2.12 Having your conversation honest among the Gentiles: that, whereas they speak against you as evildoers, they may by your good works, which they shall behold, glorify God in the day of visitation.
1Pet.2.15 For so is the will of God, that with well doing ye may put to silence the ignorance of foolish men:

Love the brotherhood

1Pet.2.16 As free, and not using your liberty for a cloak of maliciousness, but as the servants of God.
1Pet.2.17 Honour all men. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honour the king.

1Pet.2.19 For this is thankworthy, if a man for conscience toward God endure grief, suffering wrongfully.
1Pet.2.20 For what glory is it, if, when ye be buffeted for your faults, ye shall take it patiently? but if, when ye do well, and suffer for it, ye take it patiently, this is acceptable with God.

Honour all men. Love the brotherhood

Be ready to give an answer for the reason of the hope that is in you

1Pet.3.4 But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price.
1Pet.3.5 For after this manner in the old time the holy women also, who trusted in God, adorned themselves, being in subjection unto their own husbands:
1Pet.3.15 But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:
1Pet.3.17 For it is better, if the will of God be so, that ye suffer for well doing, than for evil doing.

1Pet.3.18 For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit:
1Pet.3.20 Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water.
1Pet.3.21 The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ:
1Pet.3.22 Who is gone into heaven, and is on the right hand of God; angels and authorities and powers being made subject unto him.

In the flesh to the lusts of men

1Pet.4.2 That he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh to the lusts of men, but to the will of God.
1Pet.4.6 For for this cause was the gospel preached also to them that are dead, that they might be judged according to men in the flesh, but live according to God in the spirit.

1Pet.4.10 As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.
1Pet.4.11 If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles of God; if any man minister, let him do it as of the ability which God giveth: that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be praise and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.

in the flesh to the lusts of men

Speak as the oracles of God

1Pet.4.14 If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye; for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you: on their part he is evil spoken of, but on your part he is glorified.
1Pet.4.16 Yet if any man suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf.

1Pet.4.17 For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?
1Pet.4.19 Wherefore let them that suffer according to the will of God commit the keeping of their souls to him in well doing, as unto a faithful Creator.

God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble

1Pet.5.2 Feed the flock of God which is among you, taking the oversight thereof, not by constraint, but willingly; not for filthy lucre, but of a ready mind;
1Pet.5.3 Neither as being lords over God’s heritage, but being ensamples to the flock.
1Pet.5.5 Likewise, ye younger, submit yourselves unto the elder. Yea, all of you be subject one to another, and be clothed with humility: for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble.

1Pet.5.6 Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time:
1Pet.5.10 But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.
1Pet.5.12 By Silvanus, a faithful brother unto you, as I suppose, I have written briefly, exhorting, and testifying that this is the true grace of God wherein ye stand.

Simon Peter, a servant and an apostle of Jesus Christ

2Pet.1.1 Simon Peter, a servant and an apostle of Jesus Christ, to them that have obtained like precious faith with us through the righteousness of God and our Saviour Jesus Christ:
2Pet.1.2 Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord,

2Pet.1.17 For he received from God the Father honour and glory, when there came such a voice to him from the excellent glory, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.
2Pet.1.21 For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.

God spared not the angels

2Pet.2.4 For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment;

  God spared not the angels

The heavens being on fire shall be dissolved

2Pet.3.5 For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water:
2Pet.3.12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?

God is light

1John.1.5 This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.

God is light, and in him is no darkness at all

The world passeth away

1John.2.5 But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.
1John.2.14 I have written unto you, fathers, because ye have known him that is from the beginning. I have written unto you, young men, because ye are strong, and the word of God abideth in you, and ye have overcome the wicked one.
1John.2.17 And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.

We are called the sons of God

1John.3.1 Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.
1John.3.2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.

1John.3.8 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.
1John.3.9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.

The children of the devil

1John.3.10 In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.
1John.3.16 Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.

  the children of the devil

God is greater than our heart

1John.3.17 But whoso hath this world's good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him?
1John.3.20 For if our heart condemn us, God is greater than our heart, and knoweth all things.
1John.3.21 Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, then have we confidence toward God.

God is greater than our heart

That he who loveth God love his brother also

1John.4.1 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.
1John.4.2 Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God:
1John.4.3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.
1John.4.4 Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.

1John.4.6 We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.
1John.4.7 Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.
1John.4.8 He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.

His only begotten Son

1John.4.9 In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.
1John.4.10 Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.

  his only begotten Son

God so loved us

1John.4.11 Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.
1John.4.12 No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us.

1John.4.15 Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God.
1John.4.16 And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.
1John.4.20 If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen?
1John.4.21 And this commandment have we from him, That he who loveth God love his brother also.

God so loved us

We love God, and keep his commandments

1John.5.1 Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God: and every one that loveth him that begat loveth him also that is begotten of him.
1John.5.2 By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments.
1John.5.3 For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.
1John.5.4 For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.

1John.5.5 Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?
1John.5.9 If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater: for this is the witness of God which he hath testified of his Son.
1John.5.10 He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son.

This life is in his Son

1John.5.11 And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.

1John.5.12 He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.
1John.5.13 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.

this life is in his Son

The whole world lieth in wickedness

1John.5.18 We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not.
1John.5.19 And we know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in wickedness.
1John.5.20 And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.

the whole world lieth in wickedness

Abide in the doctrine of Christ

2John.1.3 Grace be with you, mercy, and peace, from God the Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of the Father, in truth and love.
2John.1.9 Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son.

2John.1.10 If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed:
2John.1.11 For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.

He that doeth good is of God

3John.1.11 Beloved, follow not that which is evil, but that which is good. He that doeth good is of God: but he that doeth evil hath not seen God.

To the only wise God our Saviour. Amen.

Jude.1.1 Jude, the servant of Jesus Christ, and brother of James, to them that are sanctified by God the Father, and preserved in Jesus Christ, and called:
Jude.1.4 For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.
Jude.1.21 Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.
Jude.1.25 To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and for ever. Amen.
