The people imagine a vain thing

Psa.2.1 Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing?

To have dominion over the works of thy hands

Psa.8.6 Thou madest him to have dominion over the works of thy hands; thou hast put all things under his feet:

The LORD shall cut off all flattering lips

Psa.12.3 The LORD shall cut off all flattering lips, and the tongue that speaketh proud things:

Taketh reward against the innocent

Psa.15.5 He that putteth not out his money to usury, nor taketh reward against the innocent. He that doeth these things shall never be moved.

Behold the things that are equal

Psa.17.2 Let my sentence come forth from thy presence; let thine eyes behold the things that are equal.

To behold the beauty of the LORD

Psa.27.4 One thing have I desired of the LORD, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to inquire in his temple.

Let the lying lips be put to silence

Psa.31.18 Let the lying lips be put to silence; which speak grievous things proudly and contemptuously against the righteous.

An horse is a vain thing

Psa.33.17 An horse is a vain thing for safety: neither shall he deliver any by his great strength.

They that seek the LORD shall not want any good thing

Psa.34.10 The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger: but they that seek the LORD shall not want any good thing.

False witnesses did rise up

Psa.35.11 False witnesses did rise up; they laid to my charge things that I knew not.

Seek after my life

Psa.38.12 They also that seek after my life lay snares for me: and they that seek my hurt speak mischievous things, and imagine deceits all the day long.
Psa.38.20 They also that render evil for good are mine adversaries; because I follow the thing that good is.

I pour out my soul in me

Psa.42.4 When I remember these things, I pour out my soul in me: for I had gone with the multitude, I went with them to the house of God, with the voice of joy and praise, with a multitude that kept holyday.

To drink the wine of astonishment

Psa.60.3 Thou hast showed thy people hard things: thou hast made us to drink the wine of astonishment.

O God of our salvation

Psa.65.5 By terrible things in righteousness wilt thou answer us, O God of our salvation; who art the confidence of all the ends of the earth, and of them that are afar off upon the sea:

Let the heaven and earth praise him, the seas

The LORD God is a sun and shield

Psa.84.11 For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.

For thou art great

Psa.86.10 For thou art great, and doest wondrous things: thou art God alone.

O city of God. Selah

Psa.87.3 Glorious things are spoken of thee, O city of God. Selah.

My covenant will I not break

Psa.89.34 My covenant will I not break, nor alter the thing that is gone out of my lips.

Sing praises unto thy name, O most High

Psa.92.1 A Psalm or Song for the sabbath day. It is a good thing to give thanks unto the LORD, and to sing praises unto thy name, O most High:

The workers of iniquity boast

Psa.94.4 How long shall they utter and speak hard things? and all the workers of iniquity boast themselves?

Sing unto the LORD a new song

Psa.98.1 A Psalm. O sing unto the LORD a new song; for he hath done marvellous things: his right hand, and his holy arm, hath gotten him the victory.

I will set no wicked thing

Psa.101.3 I will set no wicked thing before mine eyes: I hate the work of them that turn aside; it shall not cleave to me.

Thy youth is renewed like the eagle's

Psa.103.5 Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle's.

So is this great and wide sea

Psa.104.25 So is this great and wide sea, wherein are things creeping innumerable, both small and great beasts.

By the Red sea

Psa.106.21 They forgat God their saviour, which had done great things in Egypt;
Psa.106.22 Wondrous works in the land of Ham, and terrible things by the Red sea.

The lovingkindness of the LORD

Psa.107.43 Whoso is wise, and will observe these things, even they shall understand the lovingkindness of the LORD.

In heaven, and in the earth

Psa.113.6 Who humbleth himself to behold the things that are in heaven, and in the earth!

Open thou mine eyes

Psa.119.18 Open thou mine eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of thy law.
Psa.119.128 Therefore I esteem all thy precepts concerning all things to be right; and I hate every false way.

The LORD hath done great things, we are glad

Psa.126.2 Then was our mouth filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing: then said they among the heathen, The LORD hath done great things for them.
Psa.126.3 The LORD hath done great things for us; whereof we are glad.

Things too high for me

Psa.131.1 A Song of degrees of David. LORD, my heart is not haughty, nor mine eyes lofty: neither do I exercise myself in great matters, or in things too high for me.

Let me not eat of their dainties

Psa.141.4 Incline not my heart to any evil thing, to practice wicked works with men that work iniquity: and let me not eat of their dainties.

The desire of every living thing

Psa.145.16 Thou openest thine hand, and satisfiest the desire of every living thing.

Beasts, and all cattle

Psa.148.10 Beasts, and all cattle; creeping things, and flying fowl:

Praise ye the LORD

Psa.150.6 Let every thing that hath breath praise the LORD. Praise ye the LORD.
