What doth it profit? |

James.2.16 And one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit? |

Behold, how great a matter a little fire kindleth! |

James.3.2 For in many things we offend all. If any man offend not in word, the same is a perfect man, and able also to bridle the whole body. |

Your yea be yea; and your nay, nay |

The angels desire to look into |

1Pet.1.12 Unto whom it was revealed, that not unto themselves, but unto us they did minister the things, which are now reported unto you by them that have preached the gospel unto you with the Holy Ghost sent down from heaven; which things the angels desire to look into. |
1Pet.1.18 Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; |

Watch unto prayer |

1Pet.4.7 But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer. |

Think it not strange |

1Pet.4.11 If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles of God; if any man minister, let him do it as of the ability which God giveth: that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be praise and dominion for ever and ever. Amen. |
1Pet.4.12 Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you: |

Always in remembrance of these things |

2Pet.1.3 According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: |
2Pet.1.12 Wherefore I will not be negligent to put you always in remembrance of these things, though ye know them, and be established in the present truth. |

Be not ignorant of this one thing |

If our heart condemn us |
