| Exo.2.15 Now when Pharaoh heard this thing, he sought to slay Moses. But Moses fled from the face of Pharaoh, and dwelt in the land of Midian: and he sat down by a well. Exo.2.24 And God heard their groaning, and God remembered his covenant with Abraham, with Isaac, and with Jacob. |

I have surely seen the affliction of my people |

| Exo.3.7 And the LORD said, I have surely seen the affliction of my people which are in Egypt, and have heard their cry by reason of their taskmasters; for I know their sorrows; Exo.4.31 And the people believed: and when they heard that the LORD had visited the children of Israel, and that he had looked upon their affliction, then they bowed their heads and worshipped. Exo.6.5 And I have also heard the groaning of the children of Israel, whom the Egyptians keep in bondage; and I have remembered my covenant. |

Serve me in the wilderness |

| Exo.6.12 And Moses spake before the LORD, saying, Behold, the children of Israel have not hearkened unto me; how then shall Pharaoh hear me, who am of uncircumcised lips? |
Exo.7.16 And thou shalt say unto him, The LORD God of the Hebrews hath sent me unto thee, saying, Let my people go, that they may serve me in the wilderness: and, behold, hitherto thou wouldest not hear. Exo.15.14 The people shall hear, and be afraid: sorrow shall take hold on the inhabitants of Palestina. |

Murmurings against the LORD |

| Exo.16.7 And in the morning, then ye shall see the glory of the LORD; for that he heareth your murmurings against the LORD: and what are we, that ye murmur against us? Exo.16.8 And Moses said, This shall be, when the LORD shall give you in the evening flesh to eat, and in the morning bread to the full; for that the LORD heareth your murmurings which ye murmur against him: and what are we? your murmurings are not against us, but against the LORD. Exo.16.9And Moses spake unto Aaron, Say unto all the congregation of the children of Israel, Come near before the LORD: for he hath heard your murmurings. |
Exo.16.12 I have heard the murmurings of the children of Israel: speak unto them, saying, At even ye shall eat flesh, and in the morning ye shall be filled with bread; and ye shall know that I am the LORD your God. |  |

The LORD had brought Israel out of Egypt |

| Exo.18.1 When Jethro, the priest of Midian, Moses' father in law, heard of all that God had done for Moses, and for Israel his people, and that the LORD had brought Israel out of Egypt; |  |

Lo, I come unto thee in a thick cloud |

| Exo.19.9 And the LORD said unto Moses, Lo, I come unto thee in a thick cloud, that the people may hear when I speak with thee, and believe thee for ever. And Moses told the words of the people unto the LORD. Exo.20.19 And they said unto Moses, Speak thou with us, and we will hear: but let not God speak with us, lest we die. Exo.22.23 If thou afflict them in any wise, and they cry at all unto me, I will surely hear their cry; |
Exo.22.27 For that is his covering only, it is his raiment for his skin: wherein shall he sleep? and it shall come to pass, when he crieth unto me, that I will hear; for I am gracious. |  |

Make no mention of the name of other gods |

The noise of them that sing do I hear |

| Exo.32.17 And when Joshua heard the noise of the people as they shouted, he said unto Moses, There is a noise of war in the camp. Exo.32.18 And he said, It is not the voice of them that shout for mastery, neither is it the voice of them that cry for being overcome: but the noise of them that sing do I hear. |
Exo.33.4 And when the people heard these evil tidings, they mourned: and no man did put on him his ornaments. |  |

The voice of swearing |

| Lev.5.1 And if a soul sin, and hear the voice of swearing, and is a witness, whether he hath seen or known of it; if he do not utter it, then he shall bear his iniquity. |  |

Let all the congregation stone him |

| Lev.10.20 And when Moses heard that, he was content. Lev.24.14 Bring forth him that hath cursed without the camp; and let all that heard him lay their hands upon his head, and let all the congregation stone him. |
