My son, hear the instruction

Pro.1.5 A wise man will hear, and will increase learning; and a man of understanding shall attain unto wise counsels:
Pro.1.8 My son, hear the instruction of thy father, and forsake not the law of thy mother:
Pro.4.1 Hear, ye children, the instruction of a father, and attend to know understanding.

Pro.4.10 Hear, O my son, and receive my sayings; and the years of thy life shall be many.

Hear me now

Pro.5.7 Hear me now therefore, O ye children, and depart not from the words of my mouth.
Pro.8.6 Hear; for I will speak of excellent things; and the opening of my lips shall be right things.
Pro.8.33 Hear instruction, and be wise, and refuse it not.
Pro.8.34 Blessed is the man that heareth me, watching daily at my gates, waiting at the posts of my doors.

His father's instruction

Pro.13.1 A wise son heareth his father's instruction: but a scorner heareth not rebuke.

Pro.13.8 The ransom of a man's life are his riches: but the poor heareth not rebuke.
Pro.15.29 The LORD is far from the wicked: but he heareth the prayer of the righteous.
Pro.15.31 The ear that heareth the reproof of life abideth among the wise.
Pro.15.32 He that refuseth instruction despiseth his own soul: but he that heareth reproof getteth understanding.

Hear counsel

Pro.18.13 He that answereth a matter before he heareth it, it is folly and shame unto him.
Pro.19.20 Hear counsel, and receive instruction, that thou mayest be wise in thy latter end.

Pro.19.27 Cease, my son, to hear the instruction that causeth to err from the words of knowledge.

The cry of the poor

Pro.20.12 The hearing ear, and the seeing eye, the LORD hath made even both of them.
Pro.21.13 Whoso stoppeth his ears at the cry of the poor, he also shall cry himself, but shall not be heard.
Pro.21.28 A false witness shall perish: but the man that heareth speaketh constantly.

Hear the words of the wise

Pro.22.17 Bow down thine ear, and hear the words of the wise, and apply thine heart unto my knowledge.
Pro.23.19 Hear thou, my son, and be wise, and guide thine heart in the way.

Partner with a thief

Pro.25.10 Lest he that heareth it put thee to shame, and thine infamy turn not away.
Pro.28.9 He that turneth away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer shall be abomination.
Pro.29.24 Whoso is partner with a thief hateth his own soul: he heareth cursing, and bewrayeth it not.

The eye is not satisfied

Eccl.1.8 All things are full of labour; man cannot utter it: the eye is not satisfied with seeing, nor the ear filled with hearing.
Eccl.5.1 Keep thy foot when thou goest to the house of God, and be more ready to hear, than to give the sacrifice of fools: for they consider not that they do evil.

The rebuke of the wise

Eccl.7.5 It is better to hear the rebuke of the wise, than for a man to hear the song of fools.
Eccl.7.21 Also take no heed unto all words that are spoken; lest thou hear thy servant curse thee:

Wisdom is better than strength

Eccl.9.16 Then said I, Wisdom is better than strength: nevertheless the poor man's wisdom is despised, and his words are not heard.
Eccl.9.17 The words of wise men are heard in quiet more than the cry of him that ruleth among fools.

Fear God

Eccl.12.13 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.

Flowers appear on the earth

Song.2.12 The flowers appear on the earth; the time of the singing of birds is come, and the voice of the turtle is heard in our land;
Song.2.14 O my dove, that art in the clefts of the rock, in the secret places of the stairs, let me see thy countenance, let me hear thy voice; for sweet is thy voice, and thy countenance is comely.

In the gardens

Song.8.13 Thou that dwellest in the gardens, the companions hearken to thy voice: cause me to hear it.
