Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name?

Matt.7.22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?

All the prophets

Matt.11.13 For all the prophets and the law prophesied until John.

Ye hypocrites

Matt.13.14 And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias, which saith, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive:
Matt.15.7 Ye hypocrites, well did Esaias prophesy of you, saying,

Thou Christ

Matt.26.68 Saying, Prophesy unto us, thou Christ, Who is he that smote thee?

This people honoureth me with their lips

Mark.7.6 He answered and said unto them, Well hath Esaias prophesied of you hypocrites, as it is written, This people honoureth me with their lips, but their heart is far from me.

Prophesy

Mark.14.65 And some began to spit on him, and to cover his face, and to buffet him, and to say unto him, Prophesy: and the servants did strike him with the palms of their hands.

Zacharias was filled with the Holy Ghost

Luke.1.67 And his father Zacharias was filled with the Holy Ghost, and prophesied, saying,

They struck him

Luke.22.64 And when they had blindfolded him, they struck him on the face, and asked him, saying, Prophesy, who is it that smote thee?

Jesus should die

John.11.51 And this spake he not of himself: but being high priest that year, he prophesied that Jesus should die for that nation;

Your young men shall see visions

Acts.2.17 And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:
Acts.2.18 And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy:

They spake with tongues

Acts.19.6 And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Ghost came on them; and they spake with tongues, and prophesied.

Four daughters

Acts.21.9 And the same man had four daughters, virgins, which did prophesy.

Differing according to the grace

Rom.12.6 Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, whether prophecy, let us prophesy according to the proportion of faith;

Every man praying

1Cor.11.4 Every man praying or prophesying, having his head covered, dishonoureth his head.
1Cor.11.5 But every woman that prayeth or prophesieth with her head uncovered dishonoureth her head: for that is even all one as if she were shaven.

To another the interpretation of tongues

1Cor.12.10 To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues:

Charity never faileth

1Cor.13.2 And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing.
1Cor.13.8 Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away.
1Cor.13.9 For we know in part, and we prophesy in part.

William-Adolphe Bouguereau (1825-1905) - Charity (1878).

Desire spiritual gifts

1Cor.14.1 Follow after charity, and desire spiritual gifts, but rather that ye may prophesy.
1Cor.14.3 But he that prophesieth speaketh unto men to edification, and exhortation, and comfort.
1Cor.14.4 He that speaketh in an unknown tongue edifieth himself; but he that prophesieth edifieth the church.

1Cor.14.5 I would that ye all spake with tongues, but rather that ye prophesied: for greater is he that prophesieth than he that speaketh with tongues, except he interpret, that the church may receive edifying.
1Cor.14.6 Now, brethren, if I come unto you speaking with tongues, what shall I profit you, except I shall speak to you either by revelation, or by knowledge, or by prophesying, or by doctrine?

Prophesying serveth not for them that believe not

1Cor.14.22 Wherefore tongues are for a sign, not to them that believe, but to them that believe not: but prophesying serveth not for them that believe not, but for them which believe.
1Cor.14.24 But if all prophesy, and there come in one that believeth not, or one unlearned, he is convinced of all, he is judged of all:
1Cor.14.31 For ye may all prophesy one by one, that all may learn, and all may be comforted.
1Cor.14.39 Wherefore, brethren, covet to prophesy, and forbid not to speak with tongues.

Prophesyings

1Thes.5.20 Despise not prophesyings.

A good warfare

1Tim.1.18 This charge I commit unto thee, son TIM, according to the prophecies which went before on thee, that thou by them mightest war a good warfare;

Laying on of the hands

1Tim.4.14 Neglect not the gift that is in thee, which was given thee by prophecy, with the laying on of the hands of the presbytery.

Inquired and searched diligently

1Pet.1.10 Of which salvation the prophets have inquired and searched diligently, who prophesied of the grace that should come unto you:

A more sure word of prophecy

2Pet.1.19 We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts:
2Pet.1.20 Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.
2Pet.1.21 For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.

The seventh from Adam

Jude.1.14 And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints,

Blessed is he that readeth

Rev.1.3 Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.

Peoples, and nations, and tongues, and kings

Rev.10.11 And he said unto me, Thou must prophesy again before many peoples, and nations, and tongues, and kings.

Power unto my two witnesses

Rev.11.3 And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth.
Rev.11.6 These have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy: and have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will.

I fell at his feet to worship him

Rev.19.10 And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.

Behold, I come quickly

Rev.22.7 Behold, I come quickly: blessed is he that keepeth the sayings of the prophecy of this book.
Rev.22.10 And he saith unto me, Seal not the sayings of the prophecy of this book: for the time is at hand.

The words of the prophecy of this book

Rev.22.18 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:
Rev.22.19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.
